Meet Chelsey, our patient of the month! Chelsey has such a fun personality that whenever we see her, her hair is a different color! We love it! So we asked Chelsey if she would be willing to answer some questions for us and this is what she had to say:
What is your favorite quote? “Be who you want to be, not who or what others tell you to be.”
What is your favorite color? “Dark foresty Green!”
What’s your most embarrassing moment? “Anytime I try to flirt (lol).”
What was your first car? “My first car was a 94 Beretta. 😍 Best car ever!”
What scares you the most? “Losing my family.”
What is your favorite part about your job? “The different people who come in and their stories. You realize how everyone has a struggle and sometimes you can help by complimenting them.”
What have you always wanted to do but have yet to try? “I’ve always wanted to bungee jump/ parachute.. I’m too chicken. ”
What is your favorite food? “Pizza, spinach, fruit.”
What is your favorite childhood memory? “Spending time with my grandparents, feeling how close our family was and being a kid.”
What is your favorite vacation spot? “Hawaii.”
What are some of your hobbies? “I love to crochet, read, ride my bike with the kids, swimming, color in any coloring book, shop for the weirdest tiniest things and clean…. I also do really enjoy cutting hair, very relaxing to me.”
We asked Chelsey if she had any words of wisdom that she would like to share with us, and she had this to say: “Don’t judge others too quickly or harshly because we don’t know their battle, we havnt read their story, GOD puts people things in our path to teach us a lesson and usually after we learn it we forget what it was. Every person I come across I try my best to have an open mind towards them and their path and I try to be as compassionate as I feel in my soul. Because when I die I want to hold my head high and know that I was good to my brothers, sisters and GODs creatures”
So many people these days place value on things based on what they get in return. Whether you have a religous background or not, human kindness is something we see less and less of. Take the time to talk to someone. Take the time to open someone’s door. Take the time to smile at strangers. Take the time to laugh. Take the time to go outside. Take the time to hold hands. Take the time to say I love you. Take the time to realize your own potential. Take the time to dance in the rain. Take the time to make a difference in someone else’s life. As Nike says… “Just do it.”
Congratulations Chelsey and thank you for being a part of our dental family here at Gunnerson Dental!
