Independence Day is coming up, and it’s a great time to reflect on—and express gratitude for—all of the precious freedoms we enjoy every day.

It’s also a great holiday for enjoying time with friends and family, and to get involved with the awesome celebrations the community puts on.

We Asked Our Team, “What Are Your Fourth of July Plans?”

“Some of our favorite activities for the 4th include going to the balloon festival, the parade and then a picnic outside the stadium while we wait for fireworks to start.”

“We go to Delta every 4th of July. They do a parade there with booths and games at the park. Then we go swimming for free at the pool and wrap up the night at the demolition derby.”

(Amber P):

“For the 4th of July we are having a water park party and BBQ with my family and we are also doing the Provo Freedom runZ.”

“I am going to Vernal for a family reunion for the 4th of July weekend. There will be about 60 of us going river rafting down the Green River. It’s going to be so fun!”

“For the 4th of July weekend, my husbands family is coming in from Arizona.”

“For the 4th of July, we will be having friends and family over for gourmet hot dogs, after going to the parade in Provo.”

“This weekend my family is renting a huge water slide! We will BBQ and play in the water with family and friends for 3 whole days! I’m so excited!.”

“We will be starting our 4th of July weekend at Provo’s balloon festival the day before. The night of the 3rd, everyone in our cul de sac gets together for the “Cul de sac of Fire.” We all have dinner together and then light off fireworks. The 4th we will spend with family and friends remembering and honoring. Great memories!”

“This weekend, the Doctor and I are going to have a super fun, spontaneous family time which may include hiking, swimming, water ( or whipped cream ) fights and relaxing together as a family.”
