K. Cheyn Gunnerson
Dr. Gunnerson graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science and Medical Biology and continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University, where he graduated with Honors in the top 5 percent of his class.
As a dentist in Payson, Utah, Dr. Gunnerson continues to strive for excellence in the care he provides to you as a patient. To do so, he regularly attends continuing education courses where he learns the latest techniques in dental care. One of the advanced services he has brought to his patients is the newest, most advanced Cerec machine available, which Dr. Gunnerson uses to prepare a lab-fabricated restoration in just one appointment. This makes crown, bridge, or onlay treatments more convenient for you and makes it easier for you to receive high-quality dental care without interrupting your schedule.
Dr. Gunnerson has also added the new SICAT Cone beam imaging system that combines 900 images into a 3D replica of your oral-maxillofacial structures. The SICAT system is the first 3D system that not only creates an accurate, digital replica of the upper airway but also enables our dentist to visually plan your appliance-based treatment. In a matter of seconds, our team can use our CEREC conebeam technology to create a 3D replica of your mouth, throat, upper airway and all other supporting systems. With this replica, our dentist can perfectly visualize any obstructions or constrictions in the airway to aid in finding your sleep apnea solution. Dr. Gunnerson is the first dentist to provide this level of technology to his patients, in the state of Utah.
